I really have no clue what this is going to be or become, but I’m excited. I feel like this website/blog/dumping ground has been a long time coming.

Monday Underground started as an idea for a zine…“A zine about what,” you might ask, and to that I would say — I haven’t gotten that far.

All I know is that I have way too many interests and no place to dump the contents of my brain— meaning my mind has become a sludgy swamp of half-completed projects, ideas, and goals.

This is also a result of me having no idea who I am <3 Super cute, I know. I don’t have a “thing”, unless having many things can be my thing. Navigating a culture that promotes branding oneself as something or someone that’s easily digestible feels tedious, tiresome, and overall uninspiring. I feel like I have been catapulted into an aspic jelly dish from the 1950s and cannot escape. I’ll circle back to that can of worms, I’m sure.

I just need to write.
